Monofilament- it is a wig cap construction .It is like a gauze-like fine grade nylon material, which gives appearance of actual hair growth, which replaces standard wefts made by a machine.
Just an expression referring to a monofilament base of a wig (just on the top).
Open cap construction means there are spaces between the wefts so there is air and circulation
A traditional wig has wefted construction sewn into strips. A weft is a narrow piece of material hat has hair going the same direction. With this cap, you are buying a wig that cannot be altered.
Lace front permits a natural looking hairline that can be cut to fit the client.
You cannot use any heat on synthetic wigs. The exception is the Heat Defiant Collection which is synthetic but made with stronger heat defiant fibers that allow you to blow dry, flat iron, curl up to 350 degrees. The SmartLace Human Hair Collection is made of the highest grade human hair and can be blow-dried, flat ironed and curled like natural hair.
